How to properly store and dispose of apixaban

As a responsible user of apixaban, it's crucial to properly store and dispose of it. To ensure the medication remains effective, I always store it at room temperature, away from moisture and direct sunlight. When the time comes to get rid of expired or unused apixaban, I never flush it down the toilet or throw it in the trash.
